Being Prepared For Everything Before And

After The Sale

A Qualified Appraisal Is One Part Of A List of things A Buyer Should Do Prior to Signing A Contract

Seller May Be Liable For Defects Even After The Sale Has Taken Place

When you buy a house, don’t you have an automatic right to do a walk-through inspection before escrow closes? The reason I ask is that I recently bought a house that went through a 46-day escrow period. I logically assumed we’d be able to walk through the house and make sure it was in good shape before we let the escrow close. My Realtor never called me to do an inspection and we closed escrow as scheduled. When I got the keys and went over to prepare to move in, I found the house a wreck.
